Eligibility criteria
Before the application for the eligibility test is drawn, the candidates must have pursued a curriculum based on non-medical subjects, which are Physics, Chemistry, and Math. The 10+2 exam should be passed from a recognized board and with proper distinction so that the candidate becomes capable of understanding the engineering concepts of the course.
The candidate should be physically and mentally fit. The course will have extensive practical classes where they have to perform maintaining utmost diligence. He should have a proper vision and a clean medical certificate approved by a registered medical practitioner.
All India Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Examination (AIAMEE)
In this national level exam, the candidate needs to pass scoring marks higher than the cut-off level. The test will be taken via online mode. The shortlisted candidates from the results of the computer based test will be intimidated via email or phone for the upcoming procedures and formalities.
Proper documentation
After passing the national level exam, the candidates will be asked for a particular set of documents to submit to the designated aviation academy. The specific documents are:
- Birth certificate or relevant age proof certificate which contains the original date of birth of the candidate.
- The mark sheet of 10+2 level (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) to confirm the percentage of marks in the higher secondary level from a recognized board.
- A proper character certificate from the last attended educational institution is mandatory.
- Admission and semester fee must be presented in the form of DD.
- Present an appropriate medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner as a proof of physical fitness and colour vision. Colour blinds are not eligible for the job and the curriculum.
- ID proof (voter ID or Aadhar Card is mandatory)
